Tournament Entry & Chip Count

Players begin with 5000 in chips. Players are encouraged to arrive to the tournament on time; those who do will receive an additional 1000 in chips! Players may enter during the first hour of the tournament; no entries will be accepted after the first hour of play.

Chip Breakdown:

Red: 50 | Blue: 100 | Green: 500 | Black: 1000 | Yellow: 5000

Tournament Entry & Chip Count

At increments throughout the tournament, players will "chip up" – their small denomination chips will be traded for larger denominations. Chip ups correspond to the blind increases throughout the game.

Blinds start at 25 / 50 and increase every 15 minutes. Chip ups occur at the 200 / 400 and 1000 / 2000 blind increases. We may modify the starting blind amount or blind time length to limit the length of a tournament.

If you arrive late, chips will be removed from your starting stack based on the current blind amount:

Blinds 25 / 50 : no money removed (full stack)
Blinds 50 / 100: 1000 in chips removed
Blinds 100 / 200: 2000 in chips removed
If you arrive during chip up or during break you will receive 2500 in chips.

You must be present to join the game. No phone calls or advanced "blind me out" will be accepted.
